WHAT IS TRX?
TRX Boot Camp is a heart pumping, strength training cardio work out using your own body weight utilizing TRX Suspension Training equipment. You will see and feel the metabolic benefits of this dynamic power workout as you get stronger and fitter. With cardio blasts incorporated throughout this class you can’t help but become a lean mean fighting machine! TRX training is used by the U.S. Navy Seals and Super Bowl Quarterback Drew Brees. The pros do it because it gets results.
WHAT IS SPX?
Simply put, SPX is a combination of weight training and Pilates. SPX utilizes the best of both: the strengthening and toning benefits of weight training, and the lengthening and postural enhancing benefits of Pilates in a circuit training sequence. SPX keeps the heart rate up and gives you that post workout calorie burn. The routines incorporate "old school" exercises such as push-ups and lunges; however, the support of the ProFormer™ eliminates the pressure on joints and the spine. “It’s not your mama’s Pilates”.
WHAT IS SWEAT BARRE?
Cardio, Ballet, and Strength training come together in this heart pumping, low impact, fat blaster. Improve your posture, flexibility, coordination, strength, and stamina.
I HAVE NEVER DONE PILATES, TRX or SWEAT BARRE. CAN I DO THE CLASSES? OR SHOULD I DO PRIVATE SESSIONS FIRST?
It depends on your current fitness level. 99% of our new students do just fine in the classes. The workouts are intense but the routines are kept relatively simple to make sure everyone is using good form. Your trainer is there to help and modify when necessary. However, if you have chronic back pain, painful joints or a severe medical condition, it is recommended to take a private session first to assess your fitness level.
WHAT IF I CAN'T COME TO CLASS AND I HAVE ALREADY BEEN CONFIRMED? WILL I BE CHARGED?
We absolutely require a 12-hour notice before making any kind of changes to your schedule. The same rule applies to all specials, class packages, and unlimited memberships. If you hold a count package you will forfeit the class with no additional charge. If you hold an unlimited class package you will be charged a $25 late fee. Trainers are paid by reservation not attendance.
